Colour and Contrast

By destaurating everything else except for the distinctive blue flower it gives a more focused and interesting effect.

An apple and its contrasts. This is a believable colour change

A boring clock and contrasting colours of the clock, this is less believable but has an interesting effect.

This is a picture I took in Feb 07, Central Park. I have just kept the colour of the scarf, hat, and gloves.

Aperture settings..

The different aperture settings let different amounts of light in the shot. F/1.4 lets the most amount of light in, and F/22 will let the least amount of light in. The different settings will focus on different things within the shot.
